Polish born artist, Malgosia Stepnik (b. 1978) grew up in a small village in south-west Poland. Malgosia originally studied Psychology at the University of Wroclaw but left Poland for London in 1999 to pursue a career as an artist. Malgosia has studied at Christies, Chelsea College of Art (the first Polish artist to be accepted) and she did a BA in Fine Arts Painting at City and Guilds College of Art. Malgosia continues to have a keen interest in psychology, neurology and the semantics of human interaction. This deep consideration of human relationships and perception underpins the personal journey she explores through her work.

Malgosia describes her work as "an aim to encourage people to look beyond what they know and what they have been taught to believe. It's all about the journey of the mind"
